A mass-made gift is forgotten by February. A piece of fifty-year-old olive wood — with its own grain, its own shape, its own history as a fruit-bearing tree — becomes the board that comes out every Christmas after. Olive wood is dense, naturally antibacterial and food-safe, which is why it has been the kitchen wood of the Mediterranean for centuries.

Every piece ships tracked from our workshop in Huércal-Overa, Spain. As a guide, order by 1 Dec for the rest of the world, 13 Dec for the UK and Europe, and 17 Dec within Spain to unwrap it on the day. Miss the date? A gift card arrives by email in minutes.

When is the last day to order Christmas gifts to the UK?
Order by around 13 Dec for UK and European delivery in time for Christmas — each piece leaves our Andalucían workshop within a few days, tracked. Within Spain you have until about 17 Dec; for the USA and the rest of the world, 1 Dec.
Are olive wood gifts food-safe?
Yes. Olive wood is dense, naturally antibacterial and finished with food-safe oil. Boards and bowls are made to be used, not just displayed — wipe clean, never the dishwasher, and an occasional rub of olive oil keeps the grain glowing.
What if I miss the shipping cut-off?
Our gift cards are delivered by email the moment they are bought, with a message from you — and prices never appear on the packing slip of any parcel, so pieces can be sent straight to the recipient.
Is each piece really unique?
Yes — most pieces are one of a kind. They are cut from individual reclaimed trunks, so the grain, colour and shape you see in the photos is exactly the piece that arrives. When it is sold, it is gone.
