Looking after your olive wood candle holder
Olive wood is a natural material, so with a little care your candle holder can be enjoyed for many years.
Wipe clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth after use.
Do not soak or submerge in water and do not place in a dishwasher.
Avoid using harsh detergents or abrasive cleaning products.
If the wood begins to look dry, occasionally apply a small amount of food-safe olive wood oil or beeswax wood conditioner with a soft cloth. Allow it to absorb and buff away any excess.
Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight, radiators and other sources of heat, which can cause natural wood to dry or crack.
As olive wood is naturally unique, small changes in colour, grain and appearance over time are perfectly normal and part of its charm.

Use suitable-sized tealights that sit securely in the holders.
Never leave burning candles unattended.
