Are your pieces really one of a kind?
Yes. Each piece is handmade from a unique piece of reclaimed olive or almond wood, so the grain, shape and natural markings are never repeated. No two are ever the same.
What wood do you use, and is it sustainable?
Mainly olive and almond wood reclaimed from trees retired after their fruit-bearing years in the groves around us in Andalucia (some serving boards are iroko and oak). We give retired trees a beautiful second life.
How do I care for my olive wood piece?
Hand wash only with mild soap and dry immediately. Never soak it or put it in the dishwasher. Occasionally treat it with food-safe or olive oil to keep the wood nourished, and keep it out of prolonged direct sun or heat.
Are the boards and bowls food-safe?
Yes. Pieces intended for food are finished with food-safe oils and are ready to use.
Where do you ship, and how much does it cost?
We ship worldwide from Spain. Indicative rates are Spain €8, Europe €18, and the rest of the world €35.
