Returns & Refunds
We want you to love your piece. If something isn't right, here's how we'll sort it out.
Your right to cancel
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. To cancel, please contact us within that period. You then have 14 days to return the item, and we will refund you within 14 days of receiving it back (or of receiving proof that you have sent it).
Condition of returns
Returned items must be unused and in their original condition. Please pack them carefully so they arrive safely. Unless the item is faulty or was sent in error, the cost of return postage is the customer's responsibility.
Custom & personalised pieces
Items that are made to order, customised or personalised to your specifications are made just for you and are not eligible for the standard right to cancel, except where they arrive faulty or damaged. We will always confirm the details with you before starting a bespoke piece.
Faulty or damaged items
If your piece arrives damaged or develops a fault, please contact us within 14 days with a photo. We will arrange a repair, replacement or full refund, including any return postage, as appropriate.
The nature of natural wood
Each piece is handmade from natural olive and almond wood. Variations in grain, colour, knots, small cracks and shape are part of the character of the wood and are not faults — they are what makes your piece one of a kind.
How to start a return
Email us at hello@oliveandalmondwood.com with your order number and we'll guide you through it.
Note for review: confirm the returns window (14 days is the EU minimum), who pays return postage, and the return address before launch. Orders placed through Etsy are covered by Etsy's own returns process during the transition.
