The fifth anniversary is wood: one-of-a-kind pieces from retired olive trees See the wood-year gifts →

Hi, we're Adele & Wayne.

Olive & Almond Woodcraft is our small, husband-and-wife workshop in the hills of Andalucia. We make handmade pieces from retired olive and almond trees, sourced from the groves around our home in Huércal-Overa. Each item is shaped from wood that has already lived its fruit-bearing life, giving it a beautiful second story.

There's no factory and no production line. It's the two of us, our tools, and the time each piece takes. We follow the natural shape and grain of the wood rather than forcing it, so no two pieces are ever the same, be it a serving board, a lamp or a gift.

So much gets made fast these days. This is our way of slowing down and making something meant to be used, loved and kept for years. Simple, sustainable, and made with care, right here in our little corner of Spain.

From our home with love to yours.

What we believe

Good wood deserves a second life.

Sustainable by nature

We work with timber from trees retired after years of bearing fruit, so nothing good goes to waste.

One of a kind

We follow the grain rather than forcing it, so every piece is unique to its log.

Made by hand

Just the two of us, in our own workshop, paying attention to every piece.

Made for living

Functional pieces meant to be used and loved, not shut away in a cabinet.
