Our olive wood is sourced from retired olive trees in the hills of Andalusia, Spain. Rather than allowing these beautiful old trees to go to waste, we give their wood a new purpose, creating unique pieces for the home.
Each lamp is handcrafted in our workshop, allowing us to work with the natural shape and character of the wood rather than hiding it.
The result is a pair of lamps that feels just as much like a piece of natural sculpture as it does beautiful home lighting.

Care
Caring for Your Olive Wood Lamps
Your lamps are made from beautiful natural olive wood, so a little care will help preserve their warmth, character and natural beauty for years to come.
Keep the wood dry
Wipe the olive wood with a soft, dry or very slightly damp cloth when needed. Avoid soaking the wood or using excessive water.
Avoid harsh cleaning products
Do not use bleach, abrasive cleaners, furniture polish or chemical cleaning sprays on the wood, as these can affect the natural finish.
Keep away from excessive heat and moisture
Olive wood is naturally durable, but try to keep the lamps away from radiators, fireplaces, very damp areas and prolonged direct sunlight. Sudden changes in temperature and humidity can cause natural wood to move or develop small cracks.
Show the wood at its best
The natural olive wood can be gently dusted with a soft cloth. If the wood ever begins to look dry, a small amount of food-safe mineral oil can be applied with a soft cloth, allowing it to soak in before gently buffing away any excess.
Looking after the lampshades
Dust the fabric shades gently with a soft brush or clean, dry cloth. Avoid getting the shades wet.

Because every lamp is handcrafted from genuine olive wood, small changes in the wood over time are completely natural. The occasional movement, fine crack or change in colour is part of the character of real wood and adds to its unique story.
