A One-of-a-Kind Olive Root Table Lamp, Handcrafted in Andalucía, Spain
Every piece of olive wood has a story.
This one began decades ago beneath the Andalusian sun, where an old olive tree slowly grew into the beautiful root you see today.
When the tree reached the end of its productive life, we saw something special hidden within it. Rather than cutting it into smaller pieces or shaping it into something ordinary, we chose to let the wood lead the design.
We carefully worked around its natural form, preserving the bark, the flowing grain and the rugged edges that make this piece completely unique. Every curve, crack and pattern has been created by nature over many years, making this lamp impossible to replicate.
When illuminated, the warm light brings the olive wood to life, revealing the remarkable grain and rich tones that make every angle different.
More than a lamp, The Andalusian Flame is a sculptural piece that celebrates nature, craftsmanship and the timeless beauty of the olive tree.

At Olive & Almond, every piece begins with the wood itself.
We don't design first and then force the timber to fit our ideas. Instead, we spend time studying each piece, allowing its natural character to guide the finished design.
This remarkable olive root was selected by hand before being carefully shaped, sanded and finished in our family workshop in rural Andalucía.
Nothing is rushed.
Nothing is mass produced.
Every mark, every curve and every detail reflects the life of the tree it came from.

| Care | Caring for Your Olive Wood Lamp Your lamp has been handcrafted from a retired olive tree and is designed to be enjoyed for many years. Like any piece made from natural wood, a little care will help preserve its beauty. Dust regularly with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. Avoid using household cleaning sprays, abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the natural finish. If needed, wipe gently with a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Keep the lamp away from prolonged direct sunlight, excessive heat and high humidity, as natural wood may expand or contract with changes in temperature. We recommend using an LED bulb, which produces less heat and helps protect the wood over time. The olive wood has been finished with a natural protective oil. If the wood begins to look dry after several years, you can lightly refresh it with a small amount of food-safe mineral oil or a quality natural wood conditioning oil. Wipe away any excess with a clean cloth. A Natural Material Every knot, grain pattern, small crack and bark edge is part of the wood's natural character and tells the story of the olive tree from which it came. These unique features are not imperfections but a celebration of nature, ensuring that your lamp is truly one of a kind.
